Ask a new question. I know this question has been asked before but im yet to find an answer or even rough indication on timeline for VDI version of Teams. Does anyone know when we can expect gallery viewer or any of the other features missing from the VDI version of Teams? It would be usefulll to have the ringtone play on more than one device. We still dont have background blur or images etc. Zoom have had this for nearly a year in thier VDI version and my company is considering switching to zoom, im trying to convince them Teams is the way to go but with no indication of a roadmap or timeline its becoming increasingly difficult to defend.
All ive heard is 2x2 is coming soon but ive been getting that response for a year now, it feels like VDI users have ben forgotten. Was this discussion helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. I am always unsure what release of the Teams client to use on the VDA? I always try the latest clent released but often it makes no difference. Which release is best to use? The CWA beta mentions improvements in Teams perfoemance and reliability but when i tried the beta version it still wasnt great. My organization is furious over the lack of gallery view in Skype. We have plans to move to Teams, but there is a rebellion to move to Zoom instead because of this issue. Teams in Citrix is not very good. Zoom in Citrix is very good. Hopefully Microsoft will sort it out soon, we have lots of upset users!
